Reminder: Campus Visitors
For the safety of our students and staff, all visitors must go by the front office and obtain a visitor's pass/badge to wear while on campus.
Attendance Procedure Change: District policy has changed. A student present at the time of attendance but who is absent for more than 15 minutes (tardy or picked up early) is counted as a partial day absence and ineligible for perfect attendance (except medical appts. with a doctor's note).
Breakfast at Dawson
Breakfast is provided to students from 8:00 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. Students are encouraged to come to school on time to eat breakfast served right in their classrooms. all students eat FREE regardless of eligibility status. Research shows several positive effects when students eat breakfast from improved attendance to improving their overall nutrition. We encourage all students to take advantage of eating a nutritious breakfast right before starting their day of learning.

Monday - Orange juice and assorted cereals
Tuesday - Orange juice and Poptart or cereal bar
Wednesday - Apple slices and cheese
Thursday - Assorted yogurt and breakfast bar or Crunchmania
Friday - Assorted muffins and frozen peach cup
To access the daily Lunch menu - go to the District Homepage. Click Departments>Food Services and click on the appropriate menu calendar.
Paying for Lunch Goes On-Line
Parents now have the option of paying for their students lunch on line. Parents can log on to the My Lunch Money web site, create, and manage the personal accounts of their children. for further information please visit:
User Tips - once at the web site, click on ENROLL NOW, then use the first search field box and type 78413 (our zip code), next scroll down and find Joseph Dawson, finally click on SELECT.
